Extension for Current LUCCA Learners

Stream 2 is an age-dependent extension programme exclusively for current LUCCA Support & Care Centre learners. Once a week, participants explore a range of Academy programmes while continuing their standard curriculum.

Path to a Sheltered Employment Enterprise Hub & Income Generation

While Stream 2 emphasises exploration, it’s the perfect foundation for eventual participation in a Sheltered Employment Enterprise Hub at LUCCA. Learners who develop a strong interest in areas like carpentry or soap production can:

  • Transition into Advanced Streams: Move seamlessly into Stream 1 (12-month course) or Stream 3 (Full-Time Production) after completing or during their time at LUCCA Support & Care Centre.
  • Build a Portfolio: Projects completed in Stream 2 can serve as evidence of skill progression, helping learners understand the steps needed to become producers of sellable goods.
